Catherine Scott produces contemporary landscapes based upon the rural, agricultural
Colorado landscape she sees on a daily basis. She follows a "more with
less" philosophy and strives to create paintings which suggest rather than explain.
She constantly experiments with paint application, and tends to work
in layers, often building up a rich surface patina. |
